The Privacy Policy is applied solely to information collected by SILK AVIA Ltd.

This Privacy Policy has been developed based on the requirements of the Law on Personal Data of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. LRU-547 of 02.07.2019.

Personal data means any information relating directly or indirectly to a certain natural person (personal data subject), enabling his/her identification and usually includes such information as surname, name, patronymic, date of birth, citizenship, passport data, address, location, e-mail address, telephone number as well as other information obtained during the conclusion and performance of the air carriage contract.

Any information processed by SILK AVIA Ltd. within the scope of this Privacy Policy is controlled by SILK AVIA Ltd., as the operator of personal data bases.

By agreeing to this Privacy Policy on the processing of his/her personal data, the Customer agrees that SILK AVIA Ltd. is entitled to use such data to satisfy the Customer's requests for the performance of air transport contracts during the validity period of the relevant transport contract and all subsequent settlements related to such contract. The customer's consent to the transfer of his/her personal data is also a prerequisite for the provision of the relevant services via the corporate website, mobile application and sales offices, SILK AVIA's agents, the call-centre, use of services via third parties.

SILK AVIA uses the personal data of its customers for the following purposes:

- ensuring aviation security and flight safety;

- making reservations;

- issuing the ticket;

- sending confirmation of reservation and ticket sales;

- providing flight services and flight-related information, pre-flight shopping, baggage services;

- auditing;

- administration of the check-in process and processing of waiting lists;

- personalizing the use of the airline's website and supporting the processes associated with the use of the website;

- providing feedback;

- informing about changes in flight schedules and performance of contracts of carriage;

- ensuring compliance with laws, regulations of authorities in departure, transit and destination countries;

- to prevent and detect crime;

- for other direct and indirect promotional purposes

SILK AVIA Ltd. collects customers' personal data at the following stages of its services:

- during booking and selling tickets, issuing air waybills and ordering and paying for additional services through all SILK AVIA Ltd sales channels including but not limited to online sales through the corporate website, mobile application, sales through authorized airline agents, and for services performed by SILK AVIA Ltd call-centres.

- in the implementation of the relevant settlement operations during refunding airline tickets;

- during performing an audit;

- during check-in of passengers at the airports where SILK AVIA Ltd. operates

- during provision of certain services in the airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan,

- while conducting surveys in order to improve the service on the website of the airline, its own sales service, at the airports or on board the aircraft;

- during sharing information and answering questions on the airline's corporate website and in passenger personal account;

- during processing a claim or form for unaccompanied minors travelling

- during using luxury lounges

- during sharing information on SILK AVIA's official social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). ???

SILK AVIA Ltd. may receive personal data about its customers from

- companies that have been contracted by SILK AVIA Ltd. to provide services to SILK AVIA Ltd. customers

- the providers of the transport contract with the customer, including the airlines performing the preceding or succeeding flight, airport providers, customs and immigration authorities etc.
